	NOTICE
To
THE SECRETARY
URBAN DEVELOPMENT, UNION OF INDIA, NIRMAN BHAWAN, NEW DELHI
Whereas the Complaint/Intimation dated 11/07/2011 recieved from  DR. MOHANLAL PANDA, ADVISOR, PVCHR in respect of TANU D/O SHREEKANT was placed before the Commission on 12/07/2011. And Whereas upon persuing the Complaint the Commission has passed the Following order: Dr. Mohan Lal Panda in a e-mail complaint dated 11.07.2011 drew attention of the Commission towards a newspaper clipping captioned:- " Park Ke Ganddhe Mein Bachhi Ki Mout" reported in the daily "Navbharat Times", Delhi dated 11.07.2011. The newspaper reported that a 5 years old girl died due to drowning in a DDA park, Madhu Vihar, Delhi. The report further stated that about 3 month back a pit (about 30 feet deep) was dug for laying sever line and it was covered with soil but gave way due to rain and the child died after drawing in it. It happened due to negligence of the authorities. Issue notice to Secretary, Urban Development, Union of India and Vice-Chairman DDA, Delhi calling for a detailed report within fifteen days. Now therefore take notice that you are required to submit the requested information / Report within  from the date of reciept of this notice. Take further notice that in default the Commission may proceed to take such action as it deems proper. Given under my hand and seal of the Commission this the day of 7/13/2011.
