महोदय,
मै, आपका ध्यान 5 अगस्त 2011 के हिन्दुस्तान टाईम्स की खबर 'Nagpur: One killed in police firing ' http://www.hindustantimes.com/Nagpur-One-killed-in-police-firing/Article1-729850.aspx पर आकृष्ट करना चाहता हुँ. (अखबार कतरन सलग्न).लेख है कि शुक्रवार दोपहर बाद मोवाड थाना के पुलिस क्वाटर मे फिरोज शेख ने एक युवती के साथ बलात्कार किया परंतु पुलिस द्वारा कोई कार्यवाही नही की गयी ।
लेख है कि फिरोज शेख एम.सी.पी. के वरिष्ठ नेता एवम मोवाड नगर पालिका के उपाध्यक्ष फिरोज दिवान का खास आदमी है ।दोषी पर कोई कार्यवाही नही होने से आक्रोषित लोगो पुलिसवालो का विरोध किया। पुलिस द्वारा लोगो पर की गयी फायरिंग मे एक आदमी संजय फोडसे की मौत हो गयी ।पुलिस द्वारा दोषी पर कार्यवाही नही के कारण ही लोगो मे आक्रोश आया ।
महोदय, इस सम्बंध में निवेदन/मांग है दोषी फिरोज शेख,कानुनी कार्यवाही नही करने वाले पुलिसकर्मियो तथा कानुनी प्रकिया मे दबाव डालकर अवरोध उत्तपन करनेवालो पर सख्त कार्यवाही की जाय जिससे कानुन व मानवता विरोधी घटनाओ को रोका जा सके तथा मृतक के परिवारवालो को व घायलो को मुआवजा दिया जाय्।घटना की मजिस्ट्रेटियल जांच करायी जाय, कृपया इस समबन्ध अतिशीध्र आवश्यक कार्यवाही करने की करे ।

Nagpur: One killed in police firing
One person was killed and at least 25 others were injured, including one Dy SP and several police personnel when police opened fire to disperse an unruly mob that attacked a police station at Mowad, some 100 kms from Nagpur on Friday afternoon.
Angry over police inaction on a rape case, hundreds of villagers had gathered at the police station this afternoon and pelted stones on them. It was alleged that one Firoz Sheikh raped a girl at police quarters in Mowad a couple of days ago. However, police did not take any action against the rapist as he happens to be the worker of a senior NCP leader, Firoz Diwan, who is also the vice president of Mowad municipality.
The angry mob insisted that the police should lodge a complaint and arrest the rapist. They alleged that police are shielding the rapist because of his political connection. The mob attacked the police station after taking out a morcha.
As the mob started pelting stones, the police lobbed teargas shells and fired warning shots to disperse them. At least 20 police personnel, including a couple of senior police personnel were injured when the mob pelted stones on them.
One Sanjay Phodse (35) was killed in the police firing while three others were injured. One of them was admitted to Mayo general hospital in Nagpur.
The mob also burnt several houses and damaged a couple of shops in protest against the incident.
Sanjay Jogdand, the police inspector of Narkhed informed that the police could not initiate any action against the accused as it did not receive any complaint from the victim so far. "As soon as we get the complaint, we will take the appropriate action against the concerned person," he added.
The superintendent of police (SP), Manoj Sharma, who was in Gwalior (MP) on leaves, cancelled his tour and proceeded for Nagpur.
Additional police forces, including state reserve police force (SRPF) were deployed at the trouble areas in Mowad after the incident.
